Low level laser therapy is now a common form of modality used in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. Its work by stimulating photochemical reactions at cellular level leading to a chain of physiological processes which help damaged or injured tissue cells regenerate quicker, reduce acute inflammation and alleviate pain. Examples of common conditions where Laser therapy has been proven to be effective include Achilles tendenopathy, tennis and golfers elbow.
